Undoubtedly two of our favourite treatments, so how do you decide which is best? We’ve weighed up a few of the pro’s and con’s to help you make the most informed decision!

The Lash Lifting treatment is the more natural of the two. A perming lotion and silicone shields are used to lift the lashes into their new more enhanced shape and will last for up to 6- 8 weeks. (so very low maintenance)!

While a beautiful lift and tint can really enhance the natural lashes, it will never offer the same volumized effect that extensions do.

Eyelash extensions involve the bonding of synthetic lashes to your natural lashes with a medically graded adhesive. There is more maintenance and time involved, but the looks you can achieve are more dramatic.

Longer treatment time (Approximately 2 hours)

Typically lasts the same length as the natural lash cycle (6 – 8 weeks)
Short treatment time (Approximately 60 minutes)
Less costly than lash extensions
Less maintenance than lash extensions
Can wear mascara over a lash lift
A more natural look
Not suitable whilst pregnant or breastfeeding

It is always essential to do a proper assessment of your client’s natural lashes first before making a decision of which treatment will be best suited to their lifestyle and needs.

Remember, both treatments can cause damage to the natural lashes when not administered by a fully trained professional and if the correct homecare is not followed.
